Default S&S 124" Crate Motor

Finally came in, new S&S 124 going into my 10' Electra Glide. One more day till they're done breaking her in on the dyno.... Had a 107" with 58mm TB and all the head work done, this one should be putting out plenty of ponies without future mods... For now

That would be my move, if anything serious happened to my motor. That should be a lot of fun and a strong motor, at that!

I'm leaning t-111 when my 103 craps out but you can't go wrong in my opinion with an S&S crate motor. Have you considered a transmission change as well or are you staying stock?

It was about $9K, the high compression version with the HD SE crankcase so I didn't have to deal with external lines. S&S recommended it even though I get out on to or three 5K trips every year. Keeping the tranny stock as long as she holds out, hopefully at least 125 - 150 k. Already upgraded the clutch years ago, so shouldn't have any issues with that, did go with a SE compensator. They where working on the dyno on Sat, had it at 127HP with 142lbs of torque. They'll be finishing it up this morning...

I bet that's going to be a sweet ride with that much power.
