Well this is a little disheartening too. I ordered the Dynamic Rings from Custom Dynamics and they should be here Friday. You're telling me they won't work either without some reprogramming? I still have the e-mail from their tech support that says remove the old bulb, install the new rings.
In the instructions for the Dynamic Rings it will tell you how to reset the TSSM for the lights to work. It's a quick, easy process.

I bought the 67800241A for my 2015 Ultra Classic and they worked fine without any reprogramming of the ECM, etc. Truly "plug n play." CAVEAT! I did have trouble when I first installed the kit. The screen shot from the installation instructions below show 2 ways to hook the module into the electrical system...one way for FLHX, FLHXS, FLTRX, FLTRXS, FLTRXSE bikes, and another for FLHR, FLHRSE, FLHTCU, FLHTCUL, FLHTK, FLHTKL, FLHTKSE, FLTRUSE, FLTRU bikes. You guessed it...I hooked it into the wrong connector! I used the top diagram as a guide when I should have used the bottom diagram for my bike. It didn't work, of course. I don't recall exactly what didn't work cuz it was a year ago. Could have been the symptoms described by the original poster, maybe not. I simply don't remember. I unhooked it and re-installed it according to the bottom diagram and all was well.
