I just got a 2010 with TBW. I have a nice pair of cable grips laying around.

Any way to make them work?

 

Are they the original grips on the bike now? No guarantee this will work with your grips but I bought a pair of SACO grips and they told me to cut the rubber off the insert on the throttle side and insert that into the new grips. It worked great for me. They also sell the insert separately.

 

Does the cable collar (the part that grabbed the old cable ends) still fit into the RCM of the newer bikes?
