Went out this morning after reading this thread and sure enough they were all barely tight with the lock nut almost all the way out....damn!

 

Yeah, those little screws with pre-dipped red locktite are a real B!%&H to get too when you have 20 bikes and riders waiting on you!

It would also help if I had all but 1 screw left to attached everything back together.

Thank god for zip ties!

ya know, i don't wanna sound like a dick, but everyone is so quick to say that services are so easy, don't let a dealer do it, blah blah blah..... but then something like this comes along and it's right there in the fricken manual. you know, the one where 'you' are always telling everyone to read? okay, so it doesn't exactly say to check the screws, but it does say to lubricate them every 5k miles. i don't know about you, but when i lube something, i also look at it to make sure that it is like it is supposed to be. it doesn't do any good to lube a hinge if all the screws fell out
