Hmmm...he showed me the tire after it came off and it definitely wasn't like "jelly". Maybe a bad batch?? Like I said, my results using it were good.

I use it and always will. Make sure you use the correct amount for your tire size.

I have been using it for well over 50k miles on 2 different bikes and at least 3 tire changes. I will never go without it. I have noticed the tires have held air pressure after sitting for 2-3 months during winter (had kids bike sitting along side it for same period without it and psi was down a lot). And not sure if this has anything to do with the cupping, but I have never had a cupping issue on the Metzlers and now running D407/408 without cupping.

I put it in when I replaced my front tire, and I don't have many miles on it yet, but so far so good. It seemed good to get rid of the wheel weights.

Was getting ready for a trip, tire pressure normal @40 psi, was checking belt and tires found a screw/bolt, almost 1/4 20 in the rear with no pressure loss, will never go without it either. when we changed the tire, nothing came out , all stayed in the tire

No offense but your Indy is full of **** and fleecing you..... Been running Ride-On for a while now and it was a dealership that actually turned me on to it. They recommended it and said it was zero mess or hassle when it came time to change tires. Maybe their getting it confused with Dyna Beads or Slime??

I'd say mixing thoughts, not fleecing. What slime and other fix-a-flat products do to the inside of a tire and rim...shudder.

Just look at the pictures in this thread for some examples. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=539766

No comparison between Slime and Ride On. Slime is a big mess. I have ran Ride On now for quite some time, in fact my tire guy started stocking it for other customers after I turned him on to it.

I use it in two bikes and change my own tires. It makes no mess at all. When you take the tire off, it all stays inside the tire. No mess at all. Sounds like someone is getting extra money for nothing.
To answer the OPs question, it works very well for balancing the tires. I've had no issues with it other than it works. Thankfully I haven't had to test the puncture leak blocking yet. Knock on wood.
