Default Heritage Bars on SG?

I'm looking to replace the stock bars on my SG and bring them a little closer for better comfort. My dealer suggested using stock Heritage bars, he said cables won't need to be replaced with this mod and it will be much more comfortable. Anyone try these bars on and SG or EG? My dealer says he does it on all of the police bikes for better comfort and handling. I know there are better bar options like Wild Ones etc... but I'm just looking for better postioning not hidden wiring or anything like that.

Lots of people use the Heritage bars on Roadkings, and the Roadking is the same basic bike as the SG. Don't know nay reason why the wouldn't work.

Yep. Thanks Bill - I was just wondering how much of a difference there would be in the pull back.
