Yep reusable for me too! My evo loves the greater oil flow and the magnet at the base is a bonus. Since going to the high flow reusable I get fewer oil light flickers at hot idle when in traffic on those scorcher days.

K&P, I had two of the PC Racing ones, but they looked cheaply made. Got the K&P and returned both of the PC Racing filters to Amazon, buy American.

I'll bite--I've always seen these "reusable" filters advertised, but never really felt like I could trust wire mesh to filter down to the "microns" level. I could be wrong, but I just thought paper or cloth filters were significantly more efficient.
They are as far as filtering. Even most Jet engine I work on with these type of filters on them have a paper/cloth element scavenge filter installed as the last link.

I run the Hf171 filter.Black with a nut.I actually called them today and wanted to know what media is in it.She said she couldn't tell me because it's an Oem filter.I asked if they made them for K&N and she said no.So I asked if they made them for Harley and she said she couldn't tell me that and then said,What's a Harley? And she was speaking plain English.I wasn't sent over seas when I asked for the technical dept.I do know they are rated with a European standard.I don't know what to think about the conversation.

Had a K&P filter for over 6yrs on 3 different bikes with well over 100,000 mi. I change the oil regularly every 5000 mi and sample sent in yearly with great results. JMO

K&N or Wix. Either one will get the job done beyond factory specs!

And.... we're off
I have a new Ness filter like this, haven't got around to putting it on. Every time I think about doing it, I think I don't want to hassle cleaning the filter and make sure I keep the filtered side of the mesh free of any metal or debris while cleaning its.
Stock filters are so cheap and throw away.
