Default Clearwater darla lights installed!

Got the darla lights installed on my 14 sgs tonight, haven't tested them at night yet but they seem to put out a good amount of light on high. Wasn't gonna hook up the high beam wire for the lights to kick on full blast with brights, but said hell with it and hooked it up anyway. Work great so far and can't wait for my first night ride, damn things throw further than my daymaker headlamp and auxillary's

1st pic is the rotary dial, decided to mount it sideways so I can easily access it with my thumb to adjust brightness if needed

That was fast and good job. Always amazed how those little lights are so bright.
I have been thinking about getting the yellow slip on covers for my Darla's.

Those look good hemi. Those on the engine guards? If so, will you have a need to have lowers?

No, mounted to the fairing bolt in front of the forks. Definitely gonna order the yellow slip on covers to try out, found them on clearwater's site

You need all the light you can get at night on the back roads, even interstate when your rolling. Also on shaded back-roads during the day so the other vehicles can see you.

Personally, i wouldn't be interested in amber covers. I only want the turn signals, CD led amber flashing for a turn.

Looking forward to your night report.
