new to me 2011 FLHTK - rear shock ID help
Good morning!
Just purchased a 2011 Limited (from a used bike dealer). They made no mention of suspension upgrades, and I never noticed - but the bike has hand adjustables rather than air shocks on it. I can't find any part number or manufacturer info on the shock itself, but visually it appears to be the Harley premium hand adjustable type.
Here's a pic:
Anyone know where Harley hides the model number on these things? Or another way to tell if they are the standard or lowered ride height versions? Will bolt to bolt measurement tell me anything when they are on the bike?
Thanks!
Dan

Looks like a previous owner did exactly what I did with my 2011 Street Glide.
I have since moved these same shocks over to my '15 Limited.
The standard length shocks are 13"
The "Low Profile" versions of the same shocks, Part Number 54000091 are 12".
Those measurements are approximate and may not be exact, but close.
Harley does not list them as 12" or 13" shocks.
Here are pictures of the "Standard length" HD Premium Hand Adjustable.

Thanks a bunch guys!
Sounds like jacking the bike up is the only way to know for sure. I was trying to determine which ones they were to get the correct preload vs. weight chart - but I have since looked at both charts, and they indicate the same preload settings for whatever given weight. Wasn't expecting that.

Closer to Rochester actually, but I prefer Seacoast's service dept. As soft as possible probably isn't advisable for me...I'm one of those 'bigger americans'. Between me, my wife, and some gear we're probably right at max gross weight for the bike.
