4.5 turns on a 32TPI pushrod will set the pushrod .140 deep, that's right at the sweet spot where valve train will be the quietest.

 

I'll have to keep that in mind. Have mine set at .130 now and it's pretty quiet.

 

I would recommend setting your pushrods per the instructions. Those settings are developed through extensive R&D and intended to make your valve train perform at it's best. Some set-ups will be noisier than others due to requirements and design for the application. Depends on the overall goal of the valve train components you select.
