Engine temp scensor would have been one of my first thoughts due to the symptoms. Fuel starvation is usually the other way around. I noticed that the temp scensor was metioned before and that would have been the easiest to check ($40 and about 5 min.). I would have done that before taking the tank apart.

I have thought it to be electrical all along until the last ride when stopping and getting gas fixed it for 15 minutes which could be a result of the bike cooling down enough for the temp sensor. is there a test for temp sensor? I am reading manual to check thanks. It almost acts like the fuel system is in a vacuum not allowing fuel to flow freely,which is why I took tank apart
I have checked all the hoses in the tank for pin holes, none. I have checked flow of filter, seems fine fuel flows thru it easily. the pick up strainer looks to be in good working order. The cross over holes feed flawlessly, drained tank by siphoning the left side and it emptied both sides. I have cleaned breather element, cleaned the throttle body, cleaned all the chrome in the area. along with everything else.
rode 10 miles pulled clutch and plop plop plop and died. turned ignition switch off waited 30 seconds and she fired up and ran good for about 5 miles, I stopped turned ignition off 30 seconds and fired back up and ran good the last 5 mile back home and continued idling when sitting in driveway.
