This is right out of the catalog but I have seen it on a couple bikes here inthe desert, looks ok in my opinion.

Fan Kit for Touring Models

Complete with a blacked out "Bar & Shield" decorative cover, this handsome Chrome Fan Kit is great for parade duty, rush hour traffic or anytime you are sitting still on your air cooled V-Twin. New cover design and stronger brackets ensure that this fan will stand the test of time. Lab results show a 20 degree reduction in oil temperature (measured at the oil tank) when using the fan. Kit includes all hardware and wiring for fan installation and horn relocation.

This product is available in multiple variations. Be sure to look for the one that fits the specific model and year of your motorcycle.

91550-00C

Fits '97-'06 FLHT and '97-later FLHR models equipped with fuel injected Twin Cam or fuel injected Evolution® 1340 engines only. (Does not fit on carbureted models or models with Head Bolt Covers.)

MSRP US $379.95

Looks to me that it blows all of the hot air onto your right leg.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the HD Fan kit does NOT fit the 07 models......

You are going to have to fab up your own brackets or get a different set up....

any idea what is different with the '07s so that the fan wouldn't fit. are the HD fans still pretty cheap in construction. heard lots of bad comments about their durabity and service life.

I dont have a pic of one but I was on a Patriot Guard Mission last week and this guy was there with a Fire Dept Edition Electra Glide. It had the fan on it and it looked way smalller than in the picture in the catalog. Said it was the HD fan. I thought it looked cool and he said it stayed cool!

What is different is the size and design of the Inner Primary.....

The bracketry from the kit doesn't fit, and a new lower bracket MUST be built from scratch.....

The HD fan is HUGE and covers from the top motor mount base to the bottom of the cylinders... The actual fan impeller unit is much smaller... If it was mounted on an 07, it was either an aftermarket unit or a re-engineered HD unit....
