Congratulations on the bike. Just got mine as well, but don't have my license yet and classes aren't until July 8. Going to be a long month!

Nice bike! That sucker should last you many many years! Double up on the payments if you can, pay it off quick and enjoy it.

Congrats OP and welcome to the touring bike section. They aren't just for road trips. I have found that they ride around town and hop from bar to bar quite well too.

Default They are called Road Kings for a reason.

Congratulations on your new scoot. I tried the batwing eglides a couple of times after having a softail. The fairing was just too much for me. Really glad I went with the Road King. If you ever miss the wind just easily remove the windshield and inhale. They are such a versatile bike and so much fun to ride. You can barhop locally or load it down and hit the road. The old timers say that Black is the fastest color. Cheers !

Congrats on the new bagger. I rode a Road King for many of years until I test rode a Ultra. Now I don't want to ride anything else.

They are "heritage style" bars. A little different but not true Heritage bars. I had heritage bars on my 03 Road King. You can definetley feel a difference. The bars on my 16 Road King are not quite as comfy as the true heritage bars.
