I test rode a Road King this week while waiting for a new tire to be installed on my '03 Electra Glide. I never should've done it. I LOVED that RK.

 

CONGRATS on the new ride i came from a dyna as well... the RK is a great handling bike and and the 103 HO pulls hard in 6th.. something my 96 dyna did not do... now its time to make it your own..

 

Very nice ride! I hope to follow in your footsteps haha. I have a 01 wg ive had for less than a year. I love riding it but want something to stretch out on. Congrats!

CONGRATS! I've had mine about a month now and love it! Rode my '94 WG for 6 years, it was finally the right time. Was going to go with black until I saw a red one in person, love the red!

 

Congrats on the new bike! The RK is a beautiful bike, probably the only bike I'd consider switching my glide out for.

 

I traded my dyna in a week,ago today for a 2015 RK police bike. Awesome ride! Don't know that I have ever rode anything quite as smooth. Just great...can't wait to log some miles on it. Congrats on the new bike and enjoy.

Funny you don't see more on the showroom floor. The one I test rode (and the only one they had) was teal and white. If I saw 3 or 4 different colors in person I'm sure it would be very difficult to decide.

I'm going to put in some more miles, but I'm thinking the first mod will be new bars. My hands are too high up and too close together to be comfortable for long. I had mini apes on my Super Glide and they felt great.
