Default 03 UC popping accessory fuse

Ive had my bike for almost a year now, and the accessory fuse has popped twice for an unknown reason. What does this fuse control and why would it be popping?

I use my iphone with the cable that plugs into the radio jack for music. Thought that could be it?

Negative. I noticed that it may have popped when I hit the horn button.

Have you got a factory service manual? You can fi d out what all that fuse feeds.
It's not likely to be anything you plugged into the radio. Id think the radio would have its own fuse.

If it pops when you hit the horn, yes probably a short. Check the wiring under the switch caps and see if one is pinched/rubbing through. If not there, check where the wiring goes over the fairing brackets, been known to rub through there as well.

In 03 there was a recall/service bulletin to upgrade the circuit breaker to 50 amp on touring bikes with fairings. Could be your problem.
