Has anyone ever had any experiences good/bad with the T-Bags luggage. I'm looking at the Cross Country bag, but haven't seen many reviews on it. Any help would me much appreciated.
I used to own the "Vegas" model. I used it on my Dyna. I thought it was great quality. Included it in the sale of the Dyna as I didn't need it anymore with the Ultra.
I used a Dekker II last year to go from Jersey to Key West. It worked well. Holds a good bit of stuff if you role the clothes. When I did that, there was enough space for more than a weeks worth of cloths, easy. It sits on the Tour Pak rack and the only thing I didn't like about that was every time we stopped for a while and I went to lift the Tour Pak lid to put my helmet away, you have that extra 15-20lbs, you holding up while your putting your helmet in. I was afraid I was going to slip and let it go and bust the hinges clean off the Tour Pak. I tried to attach it to the backseat, but couldn't make it work.
I have the big bag that goes behind you on the passenger seat and a space saver bag. I'm not familiar with the bag you're talking about but after thousands of miles on road trips with these bags I'm impressed with the quality. They have good customer service too. I'm going to buy another bag for my tourpak luggage rack as soon as I decide on which one. I'm going on a month long 10k mile road trip this summer and want something a little bigger then the space saver bag.
I have the stow-a-way. It folds up really small when it's empty. I've had it for 5 years and it works great. I'm currently on a 6000 mile trip with it and my saddle bags. The materials are great quality
I've used a T-Bag on my '03 Heritage for about 10 years. I don't remember the model name, but it has worked well on numerous trips. I still use it for an over night bag even when not on an M/C trip...
Very well made, sturdy, and it doesn't have a scuff mark or tear with 10 years of use....
