I do mine every 10k miles, its a lot like the primary in those forks in fact the color of the oil reminded me of it. It's extremely easy and you'll chuckle at how easy. I recommend flushing it out instead of just refilling it. Replace those cheesy phillips head screws with an allen bolt. I found one that worked and shaved it down to size for easy maintenance.
