I've noticed that my fuel door latch rattles like heck on my 2014 SGS. Really notice it 1-4th gears. Just an annoying vibrating sound.
Anybody else run into this? Mod-Fix or replacement?

 

Had this same thing happen on my 14 sgs. Annoying buzzing sound around 3k rpm's. Just replaced the push button on the fuel door, bought from the dealer for $30 I believe and problem solved, hasn't returned yet

 

Put some clear stick on cabinet door bumpers on the underside or inside, to take up the slack. Cost two bucks.
Or re- bend the hinge piece to add more tension. Free

 

On my 14 SGS it's the door latch button, not the door. Took a small hand grease gun w/ a needle tip, shot some in the areas & it helped some... didn't solve it completely.

 

Mine wouldn't open. Took it in for recall on clutch and had then check it also. Said the hinge was coming loose. Tightened it up no more issues.

Agree. Tweak the hinge for more pressure to close, that will keep the lock tight against retainer
