Default King to Glide, pulled the trigger :-)

Took a nice long test ride on a 2016 Road Glide this morning and rode it home this afternoon Going to miss the King but wow is this thing sweet. I think I have heard a couple of guys describe the airflow as just steady and smooth and they are spot on. Going to go with a little taller wind screen but just love this bike.

Congrats! I did the same thing... and loving every minute of it. My wife now rides the Road King, so I still get to see it, miss it, and ride it once in a while, but I'm not sure I would miss it as much if I didn't see it every day

Good call on the taller windshield... lots of options out there, and it will make a huge difference in wind, and wind noise. I went with Freedom Shields 12", and am very happy with it. I can ride all day without feeling beat up from the wind and wind noise, and there's no distortion, which is really nice. I look over the top of the shield, and the curl at the top of the windshield helps push the air over my head. The stock shield looks great, but doesn't do much for wind or noise... or bugs.

I suspect he will want to keep his current screen name. At least fellow forum members will know that at one point, he "used to be cool", and then he bought a Fugly!

Just kidding. Kudos on the new bike.

Nice bike. I've always like the color combination of the anniversary bikes.

I bought my RGU three years ago but still have my RKC. My son rides it now. I take it out every once in a while but enjoy the RGU more. If you tour much you won't regret it.
