Help identifying rear sprocket
I did a quick search with no results. I have a 01 FLHT and need to replace the rear sprocket (worn cheap aftermarket on now).
I know that it is 70t, 1.5" wide... When I search Ebay for similar ones to buy, they keep referring to that configuration for Softails, or vtwin up to 99. Any searches for 00 and later FL's says its a 1 1/8 inch 70 tooth!
So what is the difference between a Softail 70 tooth and a FLH sprocket? bolt pattern? read somewhere about the center hole being larger or smaller on dressers because of larger axles... I had a buddy say he tried to get a pulley cover for a Dyna for his FLHT and the bolt pattern was different.
My goal was to get a stock pulley back on the bike (better material than aftermarket) and get a chrome cover to dress it up.
Thanx in advance

RE: Help identifying rear sprocket
Your 01 is an 1 1/2". The Twin Cam Softail from 00 to 05 are1 1/8". You need the correct one.
If you score a 1 1/2" for an EVO (smaller locating hole 1.986) you will need the adapter ring to convert it to a Twin Cam 2.208" or have it opened up by a machine shop.

Thanx all. Puzzled, that was what I was thinking about doing. I can find plenty 1.5" 70t softail ones... but to find a dresser version is impossible. Harley wants over $200 for the stock one, and since I made the mistake of selling mine on EBay for next to nothing, I can't justify buying a new one from HD.
Again, thanx to all that replied.
Now to find a machine shop!
