Bought a Road Glide today..

I'm officially on a touring bike as of this afternoon..
She had a whole 2 miles on her before todays test ride....The dealer had already installed all the extras all I need is a solo seat, bigger windshield, and move the controls forward....I'm six foot eight tall so any bike will be small for me, but the RG was the best starting point I feel..
(bad cell phone pic)
I'll be wearing out the search feature trying to figure out what can be done to make this thing as tall dude friendly as possible..

LePera Daddy Long Legs seat, Softbrake +2" rear brake lever and extended shift lever(s), and some footboard relocation brackets will make things a lot more comfortable for you.

You know, up until a week ago I'd have had something snide to say but since I rented a RG Ultra Limited and spent a day tooling around, I can see a lot of good in that platform. Besides, you can't really see how ugly it is when you're riding it!
There is an "Ultimate Tall Rider" thread going on here somewhere. Good for everything from seats, bars, boards to blue jeans for those of us who don't need help reaching the top shelf in the grocery store.

Sweet ride, congrats!
While nowhere near 6'8", you have 5 inches on me. Best comfort mod for me has been the seat. I started out on a Mustang Wide Tripper, which moved me back plenty, but also down putting my knees above my hips. Good for about 300 miles before agony set it. Switched to a Mustang Super solo and I'm a happy guy. I also put on a 15" touring shield from Freedomshields, not the sportiest looking shield out there, but works well for me.
I plan to get a softbrake lowered and extended brake lever at some point as well, but I don't want to move the boards out any away from the frame. I've seen what happens when a tourer puts the floorboard bracket on the ground before the board due to one of those kits, and it was an ugly wreck. Just one guys take.
