today my engine and battery light came on while out for a ride. Voltage dropped to above 10. turned around to head home and it went away and voltage jumped back up over 14 while riding. I have heard some noises from the engine, i think, it has been really windy here.
Any thoughts on this?

Over 3000km's so far this spring. LOL

 

Simple things first, check the battery connections and make sure they are clean and tight.

 

Did that first. All tight. then put on 180K no problem.

 

Voltage regulator.....

I think they are around 250.00 down here.
