Bad boy airhorn

Bad boy airhorn
OK so here is my situation with my local HD dealership. I bought my first bad boy and the electrical in the first horn went to ****. HD got me another (no charge) as it shouldn't have been since my first one was only 6 months old and I paid for HD to install the second one. OK now on the 2nd one the flippen thing is rattling like crazy. Harley has my bike for 5 days to figure out the mount is no more good. Bad boy was sold over to Wolo and they wont help me. I like this horn because it's 123 decimals. I feel like if I get a third it will just last for under a year then I will be in the same place. I do have an extended warranty that covers aftermarket stuff....should I pursue that?
I saw the horn trumpet thing and that isn't appealing to me . Any suggestions.....
Thanks,
Trish

If you have ever thought about putting cooling fans on your bike contact Jason at http://wardspartswerks.com.
He has a special horn mount that works with his fans and the Minibeast horn. You may also need to get a Minibeast horn but with the mount it will hold up.
I have had this set-up on for almost two years without issues.

the dealer did get the horn from bad boy who sold it to wolo and they don't want to help. I have checked out other horns but nothing as loud as the one I have.

2 things come to mind here, Bad Boy, Wolo or XYZ company, it doesn't matter as these are the same horns and are made in China. They have whatever label you want on them. Go to Alibaba.com and search for motorcycle air horns and you'll see what I mean.
The second issue I have is with their decibel or dB ratings. This is one of the many things I do at my job, I measure sound pressure levels to ensure vehicle noise compliance with local laws. The numbers stated by the 'manufacturers' are just marketing numbers to entice you into believing their product is superior to another. Unless the state 'How' they arrived at their numbers, I would take it with a very large grain of salt. Was a calibrated SPL meter used, was it measured at 3 feet or 1 meter from the horn, was it measured in a non reflective or anechoic chamber, and which audio weighting scale was used? Most certainly the 'manufacturer' could not honestly answer many of these questions, yet they are the cornerstone of sound engineering practices (pun intended.)
