Default Let me see those solo seats

I am looking at replacing the seat on my Street Glide Special. I have it narrowed down between 3 Le Pera seats, the Maverick, the Sorrento and the Monterey. I am leaning more toward the Monterey because I like the idea and look of a solo seat. But the Monterey looks a little strange in the pictures on Le Pera's web site.

I am wondering if anyone has this seat on a street glide and if so, would you post a picture for me.

Also, of the 3 seats I am considering, if you have experience with either one of them I would appreciate your input on them. What do you like, not like etc.

TIA,
Kevin

Before you make your final decision.

Check out C&C saddles.

Actually there was a great deal for solo, pillion, and back rest for BSR in touring for sale section.

I have the Monterey with backrest on my King, but currently using the C&C solo. Here's LePera's video on a glide.

Thanks for the responses. How comfortable are the C&C saddles? They don't "look" comfortable but pictures can be deceiving.

Same question on the Corbin seat with or without the back rest.

I watched the video. The Monterey looks like it is REALLY tall in the back rest part. It just sort of looks strange to me. But I am more concerned with comfort.

before you do this, pull your seat to make sure your fender isn;t damaged from the old seat.

2 the sg seat is more comfy than many solo seats, many are built low and back with minimal padding

a seat swap may require bar/control repositioning and a windscreen swap.

I used the HD brawler for awhile ( in town only) and found it ok for that- the low position put stress on my hips and lower back.

you see ALOT of used seats for sale- try to test drive or shop used so the $$$ hit isn't as bad if you buy the wrong seat for you

I had an Le Pera solo on my Street Bob and it was like sitting on a cinder block. I hated that seat. I have also had Corbin and Mustang seats and found both of those very comfortable. The Mustang being the best.

C&C solo is great, I've put 35,000 miles on it.
