I talked to my friend today who is a 20+ yearmaster tech. I was considering them for my SG+ the Alloy Art stabalizer. He said he put simular metal bushings on a Buell race bike in the 90's, all it didwas make it vibrate more and didnt help the handleing. Also said on a bagger it will vibrate enough the break the braces in the fairing. We agreed the stabalizer only is the way to go.

Bryan, how do you like the trutrac? do you notice a difference and does that cause more vibration?

I'm OK with the set that I installed this afternoon...rode about 40 miles and they felt good....no real twisties, just a couple of highway exchanges, but felt solid.....I'll put some miles on them before I pass judgement

If you'd have researched it more, you'd have learned that the Sta-Bo inventors do NOT recommend you double up on these products...True Track etc OR Sta-Bo but not both. I went with the Sta-Bo 1 setup for Pre 2002 swingarm models and LOVE the improvement....and they are half the price of a True Track or equivalent setup.

Shouldn't have much trouble reselling them...The people who've tried them [without a stabolizer] generally regard them as a nice improvement.

I think we might need some additional local testing... & since I don;t have TrueTrack or RideStr8 it might be worth a test....
