Is there a fix for FM radio loss with a class D amp??
I know this one has been beat to death....I have looked at i think every post here on the topic...I have a 2015 street glide and have the big boom radio....I have the amp on top where it can go and yes its a class D amp...Did have H/D power hidden antenna its gone now tried a J&M flexpower antenna NO help its gone now I have put factory antenna back on NO help...I took 8ga. power-ground and twist them from batt. to radio...also twisted both speaker wire all the way...maybe gained 1 station back....I understand the RF signal messes with AM/FM signal....Sooooo is there a shield of some kind to use??? OR is there no answer to this other than a class H amp i,m told by the amp tech. support? JUST ASKING THANKS

I have the RZ D2000 amp. Had the same issue. Also was helping a friend. Found an answer that worked for us both. Used some copper tape. Do a Google search. Blocks EMI. "Electro magnetic interference" . I bought some 1/2 inch about 3 FT. Also some 3i nch by 10 feet. Both were about $10 total from Ebay. Also saw some at Homedepo. I wrapped the antennae wire. As far back as possible from the radio. Also layered the top of HU. I now have excellent reception. My buddy is going to try it this week. It should work for him. I gave him what I had left. Should be enough. Tape has the consistency of aluminum foil. I used the wide stuff and cut strips. Good luck
