I installed the MVX 2 channel amp yesterday an it killed reception to most stations. I have a memory stick with a few hundred songs on it but I like to get traffic reports an some talk radio an follow the games while riding to an from places so I'm working on it. I just ordered the RFI shielding tape an a pad off ebay this morning. My plan is to put the pad under the amp an cover the amp tray on my'14 street glide with the 2" wide tape, maybe put tape around the power cables an antenna depending on how flexible it is. I'll post a report on if it helps or not. I haven't checked for interference on AM an the stations at higher frequencies aren't affected as badly from what I found out in one evening.

There’s 2 types of interference, conducted and radiated. If the interference is conducted that means it travels along the wiring, inductance chokes and capacitors can kill that for the most part. If it’s radiated then it is emanating through the air from your amp and into your antenna. A combination of judicious RF shielding, grounding and amp/antenna relocation ‘might’ resolve it depending on the radiated field strength of the offending amp.
