My Electra Glide Standard is better than both. It's better than the SG because it's the original stripped down tourer. It's better than the RG because,,,,, just because. And it's paid for! Happy motoring fellow riders, be safe and love what ya ride. All the touring bikes and great.

Road Glides always looked to me like you slammed on brakes and the front fairing flew off the front of the bike and someone snapped a pic of it in motion.

Have very little seat time on road glide. But while riding, I remember thinking how I liked my street glide better. Whatever.

When all pimped out, I prefer the looks of the road glide.

Unless or until you throw a 180 tire up front. Then, all the sudden they aren't so ugly! Lol

deuce, funny story for ya, when I bought my tourpack, it came with a 'inspected by' sticker in it, pre-printed with 'catfish' (I guess cause of the paint graphics on the fairing)....

That's funny, my post was just for you Brother. I like both models, just always wanted to own a SG.

I'm one of the weirdos who prefers the look of the Shark to the Batwing, and I really love the new Shark with the gills. There's the dynamic benefits too from having the fairing mounted to the frame rather than the forks. And then there's the benefit of not seeing your bike coming around the corner every 5 minutes.

But the bottom line for me is that the Roadie looks better than any Batwing bike and it rides better too. Yeah, the Batwing looks more "old school", but who gives a fvck?
