I have a 2013 Road Glide custom and I would like to put a touring seat on it when I take the bride on trips. I was lookin at the sundowner seat P/N#52093-08A, however it says in the Harley catalog that 12 and later CVO's must remove the fender trim strips. My question is, has anyone tried this seat on a RG CVO, and do you really have to remove those strips? If so is there a way to modify the seat so you don't have to remove the strips. thanks in advance
