Default new to me 05 Road Glide and a question

Just picked up a really clean 05 RG Came of a heavily customized Sportster. While I like the zippy nature of the Sporty, it was killing me on longish rides.

So my question, maybe more of an observation is. Do you all think the popularity of the RG is increasing? If so, why?

I still don't see all that ,any on the roads but the dealer I was at had 8-10 new ones on the floor. Two of my riding buddies have them and they seem to gaining in popularity but slowly.

Welcome here and yes I think they are gaining popularity; at least around my way. Used to only see one or two ever while riding season. But now I see lots of the new models. I don't see many old styles like i have though. And that's good for me! Hate to have what everyone else has!!

You will love it. I went from a sportster to a RGC. Totally different ride - but a new ride I like so much more. Cant be happier.

Different strokes for different folks. I have always liked the shark nose and finally got a 'final year' 2013.
I guess, maybe...people saw that Harley was going to stop production of the FLT and that got them thinking right?
Other people it is easier to criticize before they try one..sort of like dating a red headed women.

Electra Glides are everywhere. Some folks choose the Road Glide for something different. Others say the frame-mounted shark nose fairing provides better handling than the Electra Glide.

If see them on the road all the time, you must not get out much
