I used a Hammock seat from a 13 model that is unheated on my 14 Limited. The 13 seats give a little more legroom than the 14 and newer models.
I used the adjustable backrest and put 1/4" bushings between the lower mounting bracket and frame to tilt the mount rearward. It gives a little more room and puts the mount centered in the seat slot.
This was about the same thing I did. Some people were unwilling to do this. Some people it did not bother them. Some people used old seats and say they fit fine. I'm using the latest Hammock un-heated seat. http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...16-52000126--1
If the backrest is not perfectly centered this slight mod might have to be done. Most people who own bikes deal with stuff like this all the time.
