This was about the same thing I did. Some people were unwilling to do this. Some people it did not bother them. Some people used old seats and say they fit fine. I'm using the latest Hammock un-heated seat.

If the backrest is not perfectly centered this slight mod might have to be done. Most people who own bikes deal with stuff like this all the time.
