Default RG: Open Power terminals on Headlight Wiring

So i pulled the fairing off my 2012 RG to wire in some new speakers. I want to put a USB power jack inside one of the storage cubbies in the fairing. I noticed there is a pair of connectors that are capped off on the wiring harness for the headlights. What are these meant for? My original plan was to tap into the cig-lighter wiring but if these spare connectors are doing nothing and usable, that could be easier.

When I put a USB charger on my 11 I ran new power and ground wires down to the battery. That way it's always on. I wanted it that way so I can charge my Bluetooth adapter when I'm not riding. The tank comes off really easy so it wasn't a big deal.

That's an easy way to get power inside the fairing. On my '11, I used that to power my XM radio.
