Warped rotor issue from defective wheel
I kept getting vibrations in my front fork from a warped rotor. Turns out the wheel was manufactured with a defect. It was machined incorrectly/out of spec. When I came back for the 4th new rotor under warranty in 15,000 miles the dealership and I knew something was wrong beyond bad rotors.
One of the towers was machined out of spec which caused the rotor to become warped. The towers are the mounting surfaces on the wheel where the rotor is bolted onto the wheel. This is what I was told, so I hope I'm getting that right.
Just wanted to get this posted so someone might be able to find out this issue with their bike or a buddy's bike faster than it took on mine.
Soooo looking forward to no shaking and vibrations on my bike that have always been showing up for a long **** time
