Default How to wire a rear fender tip light?

I bought an LED rear fender tip light on eBay, it's suppose to be a running, brake direction lights. Didn't come with directions. Has a plug the that goes into the stock light plug and two yellow wires. Any one know how to wire it up so it works as a brake and direction light? Without the yellow wires hooked up its just a running light.
Thanks

Purely a guess:

On the black - red plug, black is common red is hot for the running light.

The two yellow wires are both hot, one for left and the other for right turn. Power both yellow for brake.

How you do all of this on your bike is the question.

Tried that.

I have the module where the Turn signals are red and light up when the brake is applied. Maybe that's why I'm having issues.

Yes, how do I do this on my bike.
When I put the yellow wires onto the direction light wires they become brighter red and amber at the same time. Amber for the direction lights. They will blink when the turn signal is turned on but at normal condition they are bright red and amber. There must be a different wire I should connect the yellows to.

Harleys use a 5 wire tail/brake/turn system. You have the module that essentially turns it into a 4 wire system. You need to connect the yellow wires to the turn signal circuit before or upstream from the RTB module. I'm out of town, so I can't reference my service manual to tell you which wires to tap into.

Thanks, I messed around with it last night. It seems that when I plug it in the running lights are a bright red. When I hook the yellow wires to the stock direction light wires the light changes from red to an orange color and stays that way. When the direction lights are turned on they function as an amber color and when the brake is applied it turns a bright amber not red.
I loose the red color altogether except for mid "blink" during direction light functions.
I'm not sure if there is something wrong with the light or if I hooked it up wrong.
