Default Can a mint 99 Electra Classic be worth $8400.00?

I have a buddy looking at a 99 Electra Glide Classic that another buddy wants to sell. This is a one owner bike with 39,000 miles in mint condition. Tires are good, paint is pretty much perfect, always garaged. Bike has quick detach along with a Corbin seat and backrest, Vance and Hines slipon's. Kelly Blue Book shows retail from an individual at $7875.00. Normally I would advise to pass on a bike this old but this is an exceptional bike. I forgot to mention the dealer installed a 95 big bore kit. I would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks

The bike is worth what you are willing to pay. I'm sure he can find something newer for that price also with low miles also.

So he's asking $500 over Nada? Probably some wiggle room there anyway.
The '99 to '02 Twin Cams had the excellent hot forged crank (My '00 RG has over 156,000 miles on it with no indication to split the cases yet.)

The rest is pretty much about condition on an old Harley. The price isn't terrible, but it could be better IMO (like around $7500.)

Sounds clean.......
The bike is worth exactly the price where buyer and seller agree and walk away happy. Lots of used Harley choices as well. Let him go for it and practice his negotiating skills........

If it has the earlier EFI (Marinelli?) Be cautious about the support for this system. Carbed sounds good.

Its not so high it would have ran me off, but I'd be pretty thorough researching it at that price.

I could be mistaken, but wasn't the '99 Twin Cam only in the Dyna line?
If so, wouldn't this bike in question have the EVO in it?

The touring bikes last used the Evo in 98. 99 was a Twin Cam.

My buddy's carbed 99 has over 200K and as never broken the case open. The price is in line.
