i was in the almost same spot....traded my fatbob in on a new 15 king...last july...then in december before i started the rest of my mods , id already done a stage 1, plus seat and forward controls, they had a very low milage 14 cvo king on the floor ,,, if i swapped my current stuff on to it id be pretty much done...so i started talking deals...our retail difference was 10k in favor of the cvo...and the dealer wanted all of that... if i did that deal i would have negated the awesome deal i made on my fatbob....full retail trade in,on my bob, for the 15 king ..below their asking price... i would have done it for 5k more figuring i gained 5k overall....but they would not budge so i continued on with my mods...only difference now is the extended bags and the 110 of which i can get all for way less then 10k...
