Default I know I should, but do I absolutly need a fuel Management system?

Money is tight now, but I really really love and want to upgrade my air cleaner to one of these.... http://www.arlenness.com/prodcat/Inv...r-Cleaners.asp

I've been told that stock AC on the 2014 Street Glide (my bike) is already a high flow air cleaner and that the Arlen Ness AC is also a high flow. So given that info, will I really need to spend the money on a fuel management system?

If I don't have to, I rather keep my money for now while things are financially tight. Will the bike run poorly without the fuel management after the AC upgrade?

You already know the answer! Save your cash for now and buy that AC when you can finish the job. Or buy it and leave it in it's box until.....

As far as the exhaust goes... I still have the stock pipes on, however I installed vance & hines twin slash slip-on mufflers AND I de-catted the stock pipes.

You have a decatted header,mufflers and the stock hd air cleaner (which is high flow).me personally,i'd be running fuel management system.you can go cheap with those xieds or a dobeck,fp3.and there's many more.this is just my opinion.good luck.

Idk= I don't know.
Since you have altered the exhaust flow by removing the catalytic converter and installing a set of free flowing mufflers, you will definitely need to purchase a fuel management device of some type to keep the engine from running in a leaner condition than it came in from the factory.

Ya needed a tune when ya decatted the header! The air cleaner has nothing to do with it...
