Default Painted Inner Fairing

I have to share the great experience I have had with Paul from Painted Inner Fairings. He had excellent communication and a great price. By far one of the best mods I have done to the bike so far. Really changed the look of the whole bike. At first I was apprehensive with the install as it looked rather daunting with all the wiring harness and things that are under the outer fairing. Paul told me I could give him a call when the fairing showed up and he would help me out. I had a 3 minute conversation with him and the inner fairing was out within minutes of hanging up the phone. Total install time was 52 minutes and that was taking my time. What an easy mod once you know the "tricks". I was so impressed by the paint quality and factory match that I ordered the fairing vent and mid-frame deflectors from his as well.

On a 14+ touring simply remove outer fairing. Remove 6 bolts for the speaker surrounds. Remove 2 screws on both sides of speedometer and odometer. Remove 2 screws holding in media compartment. Tilt back the fairing and pull out the inner fairing. Swap it over and reverse the process. Difficulty was a 2.5/5 at most.

He did them both in Daytona during bike week.
Great job and super guy.

I wouldn't say it is a fad. It's the way they should come from the factory.
