So you getting a new part-time at Papa John's?
Dang, Gina! That is one hot-looking RK! Even with the tourpack!

I'm thinking about picking up a king pack for my '16 RK. I already have the quick release docking hardware. I would like to find a used pack to save some money. Does it have to be from a '14 and up Rushmore or will an earlier one work?

This TP spends most of the time in the garage. It is nice to have for when the wife goes along. Bought this used on craigslist for $350 already the right color. Now I'm wondering, is the the full size or the king?

You can use a pre-Rushmore TP with it's rack. Certainly a '14 and up TP would look better on your bike though.

The full size TP is a King. And you have an older style king Tour Pak.

I agree the newer one would look better, I will hold out for one. Thanks!

Don't mind the goofy mount. I was messing around with adjustments to clear the police bags and make my wife comfortable. It looks much better now.

This is a Mutazu chopped...

I didn't realize they came with racks. That's exactly what I wanted initially, but I ended up buying a big T-bag for long trips, and a smaller Saddleman bag for in town riding.

I've had a big T-Bag for years but before my last long road trip I found a king tour pak on eBay. My Ogio suitcase drops right in -- a near perfect fit. SO much more handy when we got to the hotel at night to just pull that baby out. We also put a duffel bag on top to hold our rain gear, extra jackets, and other stuff we wanted to access quickly.

My passengers also report that they like it much better.

Finally, I think it lowers the center of gravity somewhat and makes the bike easier to manage at low speeds.

The warning about access to the saddle bags is accurate. I'm not sure how much of a problem it is with hard bags, but with my leather RK Classic bags, it's a problem. So worth it though.

I love the thing. I expect I'll have a T-Bag for sale shortly.

Sounds to me like the OP is much more interested in a style than overall capacity. I am the same way, and didn't want the King Pack at the time. But thinking out of the box, I hired some Amish Tack Makers to custom make me a trunk out of hand tooled saddle leather. That way its NOT the same old trunk you see on every Road King. Just shooting an idea your way.
