Road Kings with tour packs?
#22
Roadstar I suggest going with the King version. I picked up one cheap and beat up for 50 bucks and figured the only time it would be used was long rides or trips. How it turns out is quite different.
Since it is so easy to install and remove with the QD goodies I toss the TP on all the time even on short rides. Like yesterday we went to an early breakfast in tghe foothills, kind of chilly. I tossed the mesh jackets in the TP at the last minute and it warmed up quick and we swapped gear for a nice comfy ride .
Just one example.

I just transferred an Astra CooCase from a Road Glide I had to the RK. No picture of the RK yet but here's what it looked like on the RG. They cost about $250 has brake lights, built in Piezo alarm, liner, 50 liter size (2 FF helmets with ease) and are quick detach with a handle to carry like luggage.

Comes with a fob to unlock and when you shut it if you forget to lock it it will lock itself in 15 seconds and beep. I used it over four years so far. Best top case bargain in the industry.
