Default My new Road King Classic!

Hi everybody, just bought a 1998 Road King Classic. What a nice ride! This is my first big Harley, I'm in the process of selling my Sportster. I haven't had a chance to pick up a manual yet so I have a couple of quick questions. There's 2 switches on the top triple tree. The one on the right turns on the extra headlights. I can't figure out what the one on the left does? I notice a line coming from the top of each rear shock. Are they hydraulic, and are they adjustable? Thanks for your help! I love this bike! Shane

The switch on the left is for accessories you might want to add. The lines coming out the top of your shocks are for adjusting the psi in them. You will see a valve for doing this by removing your left saddlebag.

The shraeder valves for adjusting the air suspension on my RK are on the right side.

I use my left toggle switch for the passenger eject. If my wife starts nagging I just flip the switch.

Welcome to the world of touring!

Bigger motor, 6 speed tranny, and they still found time to move the air valves. Busy year at the MoCo.
