Last summer after not having a bike for about 26 years I went out and bought a Low Rider. I had a blast on it but seeing as about 90% or more of our riding is out on the highway I was wanting a touring model. The local dealer had a leftover 2015 Road Glide I had been eyeing for sometime. About a month ago I made a deal on it and brought it home. It was just a plain one with the only options being the paint and anti theft. I since added the plastic deflectors under the fairing, rack, backrest/sissy bar, grips, cell phone mount, and a 15" Freedom Sport Shield. I still had a seat, saddlebag guards, and factory painted lowers on order. The snow has been a little on the slow side melting this year which has been driving me nuts. Finally today it was about 65F out and I was off work to boot. Took it out for it's maiden drive. I just love it. This is going to be a wonderful bike indeed. After I got home there was a msg that my seat and guards were in at the dealer. So I jumped in my truck and went and picked them up. I just finished installing them an hour ago. It is supposed to be nice again tomorrow so I plan to head out again.

I have to admit that I was pretty nervous last year when I bought the Low Rider. It didn't take long to get back into the swing of things thankfully. I ended up putting on about 6,000 miles in four months. There are a lot more idiots to deal with on the road these days then there used to be. I ride with the mentality that I am invisible and no one else can see me.
