I purchased an aftermarket tour pack during the Christmas holidays. The one I bought had the backrest
but not the luggage rack. It's not the finest quality, but for the amount of times I'll be using it and the cost, it's perfect.
I noticed on their ad it states not painted but when you scroll down under the description it says gloss black?
Something you may want to check into if you're wanting it painted. I kind of screwed up buying mine, it was for year models
'08 - '13. My road glide is a '15. Had to do some mods. to make it work but all is fine now. One bad thing about it though is the
wife likes it better than the detachable sissy bar. I couldn't justify 1400.00 from Harley for something I'm going to use a few times a year
but 400.00 or so that I have in mine was alright.

 

Here's a little info to bring in some perspective...I bought all HD for my detachable tour pack on my 2014 RK...I got it during one of the buy anything in the dealership and get 15% off...it still cost me $1800 by the time I got the rack, the rack light, the locks, the proper back rest pad, blah blah blah...I think I've got the price down to about $600 per ride for my wife.
