Default Bought a new Bra for my girl

On the last two trips I took,I got stone chips in my fairing. Now I bought black bike this time so it would be easy to touch up paint, but I am too **** about paint to put up with the chips.First I thought I would use the 3M clear covering on the fairing but decided the look was not what I wanted. So then,I ordered a HD front fairing Bra and installed it on my 2016 SGS.I am really pleased how well it fits, nice and tight with no wrinkles. Now I plan to install Bra when I go on a trip and take it off for what I consider in town riding. It takes me 20 minutes to install or take off Bra since the front fairing has to be removed.Worth the time to keep the fairing paint from getting chipped up.

There's a good chance that the bra will jack up (leave fine scratches) and rub marks in the paint of your fairing in a few spots from your riding at highway speeds. Good luck.

My brother bought the ones that go on top the bag lids and he really likes them. Not sure what problems he was having that caused him to get those. I'd be interested but.....20 min to put on? I don't know bout that, even with my OCD. Good luck with it.

Road wear gives character to a motorcycle. If you "ride" your motorcycle it's not going to stay pristine, no way no how.

This is true. It happened to my car. I now only use a bra for road trips.

If you have a black bike, you better readjust your attitude. Black shows every defect. White or silver is much more forgiving.
My wife has a Black Mustang. I wash it a lot. You can see a dead gnat at 20 yards. Use 2 buckets, one with car soap, one for rinse. Grit guard, lots of microfibers.
Probably nobody but you notices those little chips. But if you drop your fairing that will leave more damage. Good luck.
