Default Chrome glitch & need a fix.

The right side passenger floorboard was slightly nicked up recently when my fiancee and I were leaving a parking lot and barely moving. The parking lot driveway went at one angle and the road going up hill a completely different direction and we lost our balance and over she went. No damage to speak of aside from the outer edge of the passenger floorboard chrome got a tad nicked up. No gauges etc or big nicks, it's just rough in a couple of places. Almost like a coarse sandpaper. What can I try to smooth it out a tad? It can't be visually seen but I know it's there.

Thanks

Default RE: Chrome glitch & need a fix.

Rubbing Alcohol to clean followed by clear finger nail polish to protect.
