Since I have a 2014 and am using the stock breather, I'm using this:

Let me tell you. It works awesome and is totally hidden.

 

No issue at all. Just a few extra minutes to loosen with an allen wrench and slide it to the left a little. I changed my oil and filter a few weeks ago without a problem.

 

Very nice setup. I like the fact that it is routed to the left side so that gravity takes care of residual oil when leaning on the Jiffy stand (engine off) and that you used large enough tubing to give a little more "elbow room" for the air to separate from the oil and humidity before hitting the catch can. I don't think you have to worry too much about going up a little (initially) because hot air does rise anyway and it's routed up close to the breather where the pressure is still at peak and carries the bad stuff with it. I have the same kind of setup but mounted the catch can besides the horn cover (for now). I also drilled the breather screws (I have the original breather screws with my A/C) a little bigger to allow a little more volume to escape initially since vacuum doesn't assist in drawing the bad stuff anymore but that might not be such a good idea because, by increasing the volume, I lowered the pressure... time will tell. You might want to consider having the air pressure escape up from your catch can instead of down. Again, hot air rises so it would be easier for your catch can to evacuate air (no help needed from pressure). Very nice workmanship and well tough out setup. Keep us in the loop of your findings. I can't ride for another few weeks up here.

 

Here is mine, breather was $5, I had the rest, I clean it about once a month, no drips yet.
