Question Coil to cowbell relocation

Removed the horn from the cowbell and mounted the coil inside the cowbell utilizing a little ingenuity. Now...what I can't seem to figure out is that the length of the wire that energizes the coil is too short and I don't know how to get it to the coil. I can pull it from the plastic tray that sits under the tank and run it straight down to the coil but looks horrible. Any ideas that have worked for some of you? 2008 FLHX is what I'm working with. Thanks in advance.

you'll have to get some plastic wire loom to cover the wires. where did you put the horn?

I guess wire loom may work...would probably try to do a heat shrink tube before loom though.

Going to mount a FIAMM on the downtubes in front of the front cylinder behind the front fender.

Been there don that; might be pictures in my garage. I think I modified the cowbell bracket to hold the coil inside of a soft tail style coil cover. Hiding wires was the easy part.

After a year or two I ended up with Accel Super Coils, right on top of the plugs. That and the S&S power tune headers were the best midi ever made.

Make sure when front fork is completely depressed, front fender doesn't contact new horn on down tubes.

Contact our shop at the email or phone number below.

We have the Plug-n-Play extensions that are part of the Softail & Dyna coil relocation kits. It is the same coil and wiring for the Touring models.

They'll be able to fix you up with what you need.
