road king classic fender trim on a street glide
Has anyone Put the road king classic fender trim on a street glide, I know i would have to drill the fender for it, has anyone tried this.
And let me go ahead and get this out of the way.
I didnt buy A EG standard because I dont like the blonde motor, I might should have went with a EG classic but I didnt, and I am wanting to put it on there because " I can" ( I think )

You can't imitate the King....You just end up being a court jester.
I'm sure it could be done and you should be able to get the trim for little of nothing. I see when people get their custom paint they go with a clean fender. I don't know if there are brackets or nuts holding it on, on the inside of the fender. I will check and let you know.

Just a thought here. Why can't you just grind down the bolt shaftsthat go through the fender and attach the piece with a heavy duty double sided tape? That way, you aren't drilling the fender, and if you decided to remove it, you will only need to remove the tape residue? Or am I thinking of the wrong trim piece?
