Default vance and hines slip on/baffles

Has anyone removed the baffles from their vance and hines slip on ovals? If so what did you need to do? i had the download done when i put them on, will removing the baffle make that much difference in terms of lean/fat etc. Thanks

You probably won't like the sound either - I did the same thing....just annoying and "slappy". Not sure about lean/fat, but for me...not worth the trouble anyway. You have to take them off, then get a broom handle and "poke" them out. Don't forget to loosen the allen head screw in the bottom 1st. It's a really tight fit, and getting them back in (for me was a real B).

Had the v&h on my old bike and the sound was terrible without the baffles.
I didn't leave the baffles off long enough for an eval of the lean/rich conditions.

However, my recommendation: DON'T waste your time removing the baffles.

Thanks for the info, any suggestions on what might be a little more loud without breaking the bank and forcing me to do another download or buy a tuner?
