It's not just me. Friends don't like to ride behind me because they are too loud...
We have a guy that rides with us- he's got a built 103" SE with true duals and Rush 2.5's with burned baffles.

He always rides in the back... [sm=lol.gif]

Would these be the mufflers?
http://www.holley.com/27622HKR.asp
On this page is the instructions on how to adjust them.
Just click the instructions link .PDF file will open.
Shows an adjustment of 40% for sound.
I would be curious as to the actual change when you adjust them.
Most guys don't try any other settings other than loud, but the performance may go up with less noise.

Mine are like that except for the slash cut. Thanks for the link. I will try to tone them down a bit. Still might look for a performance pipe but I guess I need to ask that in a different section.

I had some hooker tuned flow mufflers on my 95" and they were too loud for us also. Went on a 600 mile trip and damn near stopped at a dealer and got different mufflers.I took them off once I got home and sold them and got some Kerkers with the tapered end cap. Quited the bike right down and it sounded good too.

If you can disassemble the pipes, you could install some packing.
can purchase on E-Bay. this would be the most economical fix to your issue.
